Ranjit Singh - coloured by prince911 Ranjit Singh - coloured by prince911
Ranjit Singh, a cyborg general of my 2647 CE storyline. I haven't really worked on this story. It is suppsed to take place 640 years into the future.

I was thinking of scrapping this because the idea became less attractive but I really wanted to colour the dude...
So here he is.

ENJOY! Here's the lineart: [link]

I hate to sound harsh but I don't think any people wearing towels on their heads are going to be around 640yrs into the future. I mean when they are constantly killing each other ya know.

That is racist language. Towel? You just insulted 23 million Sikhs worldwide.
It's called a turban.

You never know who is going to be around when. Sikhs, especially, have been through like 3 holocausts? and they are still around, correct me if I am wrong.

Hey chill out. I mean you make a good point about the holocausts but they obviously haven't learned anything seeing as how they are still killing each other.

Personally I think the artwork was good. After 640yrs you still have him wearing the turban and he's carrying a futuristic RPG. Can't have a war without the RPG.

"they obviously haven't learned anything seeing as how they are still killing each other."
Well, isn't everyone still killing each other?
and No I haven't heard of any cases where Sikhs were involved in killings or were killing each other, in the past several years, so I have no idea what you are talking about.

Look your artwork didn't label him as a Sikh. I don't even know who Sikhs are. I see a guy wearing a towel on his head in my mind he is a potential terrorist. And i'm sorry if that offends you but that is the way a lot of americans think after 9/11. And I know Bin Laden took responsibility for 9/11 but let's face it they all look the same.

Ah so that's where you are coming from. Ok I completely understand that.
Singh is male Sikh since the word Singh is used as a second name by Sikh males. So Ranjit Singh makes it obvious that he is a Sikh, well at least to a Sikh. :D Female Sikhs use Kaur as their second name. Singh means lion and Kaur means princeess.
Sikhism is a modern religion came about in 1500s. Look past the turban and you find that Sikhs must treat everyone equally no matter who they are (black, white, gays, straights, low castes, high castes, men, women), must remember the creator, serve selflessly and earn an honest living.
Look into Sikhism, you will agree with most beliefs if not all. They have the coolest history, in my opinion.

BTW most americans also wear a towel on their head after they wash their hair... would those be considered terrorists? and what about these guys? [link]

Well i'm glad that came out well. Personally I believe all men are created equal but in americas society that is usually not the case. So I guess if Sikhs live that way then I should praise them for their religious beliefs. And if americans are converting to Sikhism I have nothing against them if they are living a good life.

As for americans wearing towels on their heads after showering that's usually women because they are all concerned about their hair. And no they wouldn't be considered terrorists, they're just typical women.
