Akali Snake Charmer

So it started with a piece of artwork of a friend of mine, Akali Singh.

His work got me thinking of a game based around that.

I wanted to do some concept art on Akali Snake Charmer in my own style on the very first day I saw it. I really wanted to make an Akali concept art. but I couldn't find a way to improve on what my friend had. So I started looking for female reference for a female Akali. Then I found Farah from Prince of Persia. She captured the slender yet strong feel of a female Akali. Bang! I took the wallpaper [link] and turned it into Akali.
I think it turned out really well! Let me know what you guys think.

Its not just magic, its DARK magic. Akali Snake Charmers make up about 20% of all Nihangs. Their name Snake Charmer is misleading to some. They not only charm snakes, but like a necromancer, use snake and reptile spirits to inflict MASSIVE wounds on their target. At first these so called Snake Charmers were hated by the other Nihangs, but as Nihangs faced extinction, these dark powered necromancers became their secret weapon against the forces of darkness. Although, both Akalis and Nihangs are used synonymously. They have different meanings and these dark mages preferred to be called Akali, even though Nihang actually means crocodile in Persian. (Neither Akali nor Nihang have persian origins, however.)
